- Magan Civilization:
- Location: Primarily in present-day Oman.
- Time Period: 3rd millennium BCE.
- Characteristics: Magan is believed to have been a prosperous ancient civilization engaged in trade, particularly in copper and other minerals. Archaeological evidence suggests advanced metallurgical practices and contact with other ancient cultures.
- Sheba (Saba) Civilization:
- Location: Present-day Yemen.
- Time Period: Flourished around the 8th century BCE.
- Characteristics: The Kingdom of Sheba, mentioned in various historical texts including the Bible and the Quran, was known for its wealth and prosperity. It controlled key trade routes, including the famous incense trade, and had advanced irrigation systems.
- Qedarite Kingdom:

- Nabataean Civilization:

- Lihyanite Kingdom:
